Jim Leisenring, General Manager
Jim brings a wealth of business and golf experience to Talking Rock. Jim came up through the professional ranks working at such esteemed clubs as Boulder Country Club in Boulder, Colorado, Los Caballeros in Wickenburg, Arizona and Desert Highlands in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1994 he was appointed head professional and helped open Granite Bay Golf Club in Granite Bay, California, which a year later was named a Golf Digest Top 10 New Private Club. Jim has also worked with Entercom managing sales and tournament operations for the Celebrity Players Tour and the San Francisco Demon professional football team in the XFL. Jim is a graduate of Western State College and has been a PGA member since 1992.

Mike Brechler, Director of Club Services
Mike worked at Chaparral Pines in Payson, Arizona, Eagle Mountain in Fountain Hills, Arizona and Prescott Lakes in Prescott, Arizona before joining Talking Rock as a Golf Professional and now Director of Club Services. Mike attended Beloit College in Wisconsin and the United States Military Academy at West Point. In 1994 Mike won an ESPY from ESPN for college football play of the year. Even with this notoriety, Mike chose golf as his profession and brings solid golf experience and a dedication to servicing members to Talking Rock.

David Buettner, Golf Professional
David has played golf most of his life including at University of Nebraska where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Talking Rock, David worked as manager of Austad’s Golf Stores in Lincoln, Nebraska, Iron Eagle Golf Club in North Platte, Nebraska, North Platte Country Club and Hi-Mark Golf Club in Lincoln, Nebraska. David has been with Talking Rock since it opened as is currently going through the PGA accreditation program. Aside from his warm personality, David’s claim to fame at Talking Rock is shooting the first hole-in-one on the 15th hole!
